We celebrated a remarkable service this morning, welcoming three young people into God's family with a baptism and confirmation combined. Every pew was packed, with family and friends who had come from three continents to celebrate God's presence in the lives of Jeffferson, Brian and Kelly. Welcome!!

Welcome everyone. Today, after service, is our church picnic, so dress casual and be ready to break bread (and eat noodles, and burgers, and trifle and brownies, and... oh my)!

We had an amazing worship service this morning, where we welcomed 5 of our 8 confirmands to our numbers, thanked our teachers and sent our graduates into the world. There was also some amazing music to be had. Here are a few of my early favorite pictures!

Today a new sound rolled joyfully through our worship! We welcome to our sanctuary this beautiful Knabe Baby Grand piano. This joyful addition to our church was made possible by memorial funds given in memory of Philip Harry Reisman Jr. & Anna Tiebout Reisman, Bill Piper, Bill Simpson, Bobbie Steeves, Patty Rosenthal & Lynda Graham-Meho. Let us remember the loving kindness of those beloved brothers and sisters of ours while we worship God through our music!

It was awesome to welcome Caleb Peterson & his father Rodney to BPC to talk about the impact Camp Wilmot makes in the life of kids. Our youth did a fantastic job leading us in worship, and building our energy!

Ash Wednesday Service February 14, 7:00 p.m. As we prepare to enter into the season of Lent, a 40-day period of repentance leading up to Holy Week, we will mark the first day of Lent with our traditional Ash Wednesday service on February 14th at 7 pm. We are approaching the second anniversary of the first time I came to preach at Burlington Presbyterian, and yet we are also setting out on a new phase in our journey together, as pastor and congregation. We had a glorious worship service today, welcoming our fellow Presbyterians from Kenya, who are forming a new church in Beverly. There was a feast of singing and of amazing food!!
